Aid to Haiti
January 25, 2010
According to a report from TheSunNews.com Bishop TJ Johnson of the Anglican Church in North America has returned to America:
"As part of the Anglican Mission in the Americas, he helped deliver several hundreds of pounds of medical supplies donated from the Grand Strand and Lowcountry for earthquake relief. He described the overdensity in the capital of Port-au-Prince, where 'hundreds of thousands' of homeless people have filled all open spaces on streets into makeshift refugee camps. 'I think the response has been remarkable,' he said, voicing his hope this tragedy marks a turning point for a brighter future in Haiti. His short-term plans also include assisting efforts to get schools back up and running."
