How do you respond to God? Do your choices arise from your principles or your preferences? Do you most often learn from obedience or suffering?
For the rest of the summer, the Adult Bible Class will be exploring these questions on Sunday in the Parish Hall from 10:30—11:15 am. Each week, a different Bible character’s life will demonstrate how right responses resulted in God’s blessings, how wrong reactions brought regret and how God can redeem the worst of human mistakes.
You’re invited to come and discover how your past and present responses might compare to situations like Job’s suffering, Judah’s guilt, Tamar’s compulsiveness, Balaam’s wrong priorities, Ruth’s crisis options, Joshua’s leadership demands, Samuel’s listening ability, and others who found it difficult to know and follow God’s will.
Please give this different kind of Bible study a try by joining Deacon Barbara Kuhn and your friends immediately after the 9:00 am or before the 11:00 am service. Sunday’s beginning August 8th and through the rest of the summer.
