JC456-Youth Ministry (4th-6th Grades)

1st & 3rd Sundays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Parish Hall

JC456 is our 4th, 5th and 6th grade students group which meets on the first and third Sunday evening of the month from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. On the first Sunday we join the Asylum group (grades 7th to 12th) for dinner and worship then separate for games, Biblical lessons and discussions geared just for this age group. On the third Sunday we reinforce the month's lesson with a movie or other fun activity. It’s a blast. JC456 is a HIGH energy experience … be ready for anything!   Check out JC456 on Facebook - click LIKE to get updates.

JC456 has its own events and retreats during the year where dynamic teaching and exciting activities lead to group development and well, just plain old FUN.  Many of these events are for the entire family as we believe in growing together.

Mission/Service Opportunities:

Mission Interact is a summer camp where students from over 30 local churches combine to accomplish local mission’s projects.  Mission Interact started in 2007 by a group of concerned volunteers serving in student ministry from local churches whose vision was to see Christian students look beyond denominational labels and grow together as a body of believers and especially to connect to other Christians in their schools.  High Schoolers attend for the entire week; Middle Schoolers join for half of the week.  It is an overnight camp hosted at local churches and each day students are partnered with other believers from their schools to accomplish ministry tasks in a variety of settings from children’s VBS to elder encouragement in local nursing homes or even yard work for shut-ins.   It fits perfectly with our “For Such A Time As This” vision for the New Covenant Student Ministries.

Missionary Support: JC456 commits to pray and monthly write cards to the missionaries that New Covenant supports around the world.  The missionary’s report great encouragement and support from these students and their efforts to stay connected.  The students also learn a great deal about the missionaries and their work.
