Mini Preschool
Our Mini-preschool class is anything but ordinary! We've designed a space where kids can learn by exploring hands-on activities, moving from one fun play center to another. This keeps them focused and eager for their next adventure.
From daily story time that sparks a love for language and literacy to a supervised outdoor classroom for active play, there's always something exciting happening!

Preschool
Preschool classes at New Covenant Preschool incorporate children of different ages (typically with a span of at least one year) learning together. This approach, often seen in Montessori or Progressive schools, offers various benefits, including increased social skills, individualized learning, and mentoring opportunities.
Our daily Back Porch with Barnabas assembly captivates young minds and encourages a sense of community, while our outdoor classroom lesson encourages gross motor play.
Many of our planned activities encourage collaboration and teamwork among children of different ages. We have found that focus shifts from comparing themselves to others to discovering and enjoying learning at their own pace.

VPK
The VPK class at New Covenant Preschool has a unique classroom setting. Children have a home base but then travel to classrooms set up for specific “play” experiences.
Having the ability to move really opens the doors of opportunity to children. The children move throughout their morning into a station dedicated to pretend play, design and discovery, music and movement, engineering, and exploration. The rotating settings provide hands-on learning and kindergarten readiness.
The daily story time develops language skills, and the outdoor classroom adds a unique way to introduce academics while promoting physical activity.
The children always know they can expect something completely new and exciting as they venture to the next themed station. When you choose New Covenant Preschool for VPK, you choose all that we offer and all that we stand for: Your child! We are excited to welcome you to our family. -
Lunch Bunch
Around the table is a comfortable place to engage with each other, practice conversation skills, fine motor skills, manners, helping friends, and listening to each other.
Here at New Covenant, WE LOVE LUNCH!
This is where our school family comes together. Teachers sit down with students for lunch to have real conversations, review the curriculum, and guide students to mentor each other.
Every meal starts with a prayer thanking God for all he has given us!
Lunch is placed on plates to provide a clean, non-distracting environment, so children are free to engage with and focus on the teacher and those around them at a beautifully set table. Children learn important language and communication skills while participating in table conversations about curriculum, nutrition, stories, and (one of our favorite topics) the Bible! They learn how to interact with others on a whole new level!
This is the enrichment program you don't want your child to miss out on!
