New Covenant Preschool

New Covenant Preschool provides our students, and their families, with a loving and nurturing Christian environment in which the students can grow and develop academically as well as in their love and understanding of God. Our teachers provide a happy and challenging environment with carefully planned learning activities designed to help children develop.

New Covenant Preschool earned a perfect score from the state for their Voluntary
Pre-kindergarten Program for the 2010 - 2011 school year.  The  score was based on the 4-year-olds  performance on their readiness exam upon entering kindergarten.

Calendar

We follow the Seminole County school calendar with only slight changes.

Teacher - Student Ratios

2 Year Olds - 2 teachers / 14 students

3 and 4 Year Olds - 1 teacher / 8 - 9 students

Spiritual

Through Bible stories, verses, songs and prayer children will see themselves and others as children of a loving God.

Academics

Opportunities are provided to develop independence, sharing, conflict resolution, group interaction, cooperation and good working habits.

Physical

Through the use of clay, scissors and peg boards, the child will develop fine motor control. Music class provides creative movement with songs and rhythm instruments and enhances gross motor development. Playground time is planned every day, weather permitting.

Creative

Creative expression is encouraged through use of crayons, paints, chalk, clay, paste, music and dramatic play.

Programs

18 Mos. Plus	- (Mixed) Parents Day Out:18-24 Mos. and 2-year-olds, One Day Program
2 Year Olds	- Two, Three or Five Day Programs
3 Year Olds	- Two, Three or Five Day Programs
4 Year Olds	- Four or Five Day Program -  Free Voluntary Pre-K provider (VPK)

Children must be the appropriate age by September 1.
All class times are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Children bring their lunch daily. There is an optional Kids Klub until 2:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 & 4-year olds.
