Sermon Lesson Summary

Listen to this past Sunday's sermon lesson. Fr. Christopher discusses the idea of the world upon which the Holy Spirit is poured out. He encourages you to think about which area of your life you want to see the Holy Spirit poured out to make things new. He emphasized that the pouring out of the Holy Spirit is meant to bring renewal to the earth. He uses pictures and personal anecdotes to illustrate that when given the opportunity to make a change, people often fall short and do not bring about the desired renewal. He then explores the concept of being conformed to the image of Christ and how this is God's plan for His people. Fr. Christopher emphasizes the importance of knowing the story and ways of Jesus and experiencing His love. The sermon concludes with the invitation to receive the new birth offered by Jesus and to join Him in His work in the world.
